When it comes to portraiture there are many different styles and aesthetics, my style is best described as modern editorial. My studio work tends to be more high end, leaning towards soft moody lighting and strong emotions set against an array of hand painted Oliphant backdrops, which were made famous by Annie Leibovits and can be seen in publications such as Vanity Fair or Vogue. These modern portraits are designed to be hung on your wall as you would an art piece or given not as a mere printed picture, but as timeless photographic memory to a loved one. My on location traditional work, or environmental as it's commonly called is usually photographed in natural light for a more lifestyle and organic aesthetic. However I do have the ability to bring my studio lighting on location to create something a bit more dramatic. As a portrait photographer, my job doesn't stop at camera, in fact it goes far beyond that by connecting with you as a person, thus delivering more than a mere image, but a memorable experience.
