In Studio Experience with Artistic Results
When it comes to portraiture there are many different styles and aesthetics, my style is best described as modern editorial. My studio work tends to be more high end, leaning towards soft and moody lighting with strong emotions set against an array of hand painted Oliphant backdrops. Each of my backdrops were custom made at my direction by the same family owned business whose canvases have graced the pages of Vanity Fair and Vogue through the work of Annie Leibovits. These modern portraits are investments that are best hung on your wall as an art piece or given as photographic heirloom to a loved one. My on location traditional work, or environmental as it's commonly called, is usually photographed in natural light for a more lifestyle and organic aesthetic. However I do have the ability to bring my studio lighting on location to create something a bit more dramatic. As a portrait photographer, my job doesn't stop at adjusting the settings on my camera, in fact it goes far beyond that by connecting with you as a person, thus delivering more than a mere image, but a memorable experience. When's the last time you've steped into a photography studio with an experience that resonates with your emotions? I would love the opportunity to sit down and chat with you about forming ideas of for that very experience, so please feel free to reach out and let's start plannin!
