Humbled and amazed, that is simply how I can put this. If three years ago someone would of told me I'd be working with Miss America 2015, Kira Kazantsev, I would of laughed it off. But it's funny how life can sometimes work out, steadily moving along to the next project or gig will lead you to the most unexpected of places. And in this case, our team rocked out not one but two different shoots with Kira. The first one, an editorial collaboration that took place on Thurby (the day before before Oaks), will be released later this summer. The second, exclusively working with Kira, Matt and Isidro to prepare and document her show stealing Kentucky Derby 142 look and even nabbing a few moments for a bit of lifestyle work. Everything was breathtaking, Ev-ery-thing! From the super cute fascinator designed by The Hat Girls, to the brilliant work of Isidro and Matthew. Mix all that with Kira's lovely spirited energy, and I'd have to say this is as flawless as it gets. On this past Saturday, the entire county had it's eyes on Louisville Kentucky, and I'm just ecstatic I was able to contribute to my talents to our rockin' city!
